Shipments and returns
When will my order ship?
Orders usually (but not always) ship in 3 business days (Monday through Friday). UPS does not deliver on Saturday or Sunday. You will automatically receive an email from UPS or USPS with tracking numbers when your order ships.Hot Weather: Shipments during hot weather may be delayed to prevent melting. We only ship orders that could melt in the hot weather to arrive by Friday of the same week. Your order may be held until the following Monday. Otherwise, your candy could melt in a hot delivery truck over the weekend. You will receive an email letting you know of the delay.
Note: It's always best to ship to a business location if possible. UPS/USPS will leave the package as long as someone will sign for it and it will be protected from theft and hot weather.
If I order USPS Express Mail today will my candy arrive tomorrow?
No. Express Mail orders placed by noon EST usually ship next business day which means your candy will arrive on the following day. Example: An order placed by noon on Monday with USPS Express Mail ships on Tuesday and arrives on Wednesday.
Will my chocolates and marshmallows melt when shipping in hot weather?
Yes! To protect your candy during hot weather you will need to purchase warm weather packaging which includes regular shipping and handling fees as well as a charge of $4.50 per shipment for insulating material and ice blocks. If your candy order will not arrive by Friday of the same week, the order will be held for shipment on the following Monday to prevent melting over the weekend. If this is the case you will be notified of the delay by email within 1 business day. We recommend that you bring your candy package into air conditioning or a refrigerator for at least an hour before opening. We cannot be responsible for candy that melts during shipment unless you purchase warm weather packaging. If you purchase warm weather packaging and the candy melts, we reserve the right to issue a refund or reship.APO and FPO military orders, please do not order marshmallows or chocolates. The ice blocks will not last long enough to protect your order from melting.
Can I pick up the candy at your store?
Unfortunately no, we do not have a retail store and. We process all of our candy orders on the web and ship them fresh from our kitchens.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes we do. We ship international orders with USPS Priority Mail International or Hong Kong Air Parcel. It may take 2 weeks or longer to receive your order depending on customs in your destination country. Please do not order chocolates or marshmallows during the summer months (June-September) or if your order will be going to a hot climate.
Does Fusion Sweets guarantee that my candy will arrive on time?
We will make every effort to ship your candy on schedule, but once your candy leaves our kitchen, delivery is dependent upon USPS/UPS and the USPS/UPS driver. We have no control. Therefore Fusion Sweets cannot be responsible for delays or late deliveries. We will not accept returns nor offer refunds under these circumstances.
